I have a dog and two cats. I really want them to be super close to me but I don’t know what to do. Right, now all the animals in my house are close to my mom, how can I change that?

Non-option:
Cats/dogs
Loud music
Exterminator (no money)
Blocking all the holes in the walls (too many, plus mice go through mini-holes anyway)

In May, I found a pit bull mix who was near death. (Her name is Baby) I rescued her from the side of the road and nursed her back to health. My Mom and I put her up for adoption to find a good home once she was well again, and couldn’t say goodbye. So, we adopted her for ourselves. We already have a dachshund and a couple cats. But, she torments our cats and our dog, and she gets jealous easily. She also tears a lot of my Mom’s things, and still uses the bathroom inside the house. She has bad separation anxiety everytime we leave the house, which is what we think causes it. We are trying to crate train her currently.
We love her dearly, but we don’t know if we should keep her or put her up for adoption at a no-kill shelter. If we put her up for adoption, we’d be heartbroken to say goodbye, but at the same time, my other pets can’t come near me anymore without her interfering. And, I go off to college in 1 1/2 years and don’t want my Mom to have to take care of her by herself.
I need advice…:[
I love her very much and would **** to say goodbye, but it’s unfair to my other pets and my Mom. I found one shelter I really like that interviews people and matches a certain dog with them to fit them with the perfect family.

I have tried spreading pepper, the stinky plant and nothing works. My daughter and I spent the majority of the day working in our flower beds yesterday and this morning our cat had dug in it. It is really irritating and would like to know if anyone has an idea that would actually work.
The orange peel might work but then our dog would just get in there to eat the peels LOL. Our dog for the most part leaves it alone he gets the idea we want him to stay out of it, but cats are another story they are not so dependent on our approval.

I have two huge dogs named Buddy and Jake. We left them in the care of a married couple that we became friends with. I miss them so much. I have one more week to go before we leave. We leave January 3rd. Our friends aren’t taking very good care of our babies. They can be a handful we know, but they’ve been complaining to us all the time about how they get into things and such. News flash to them…they only get into things when you don’t watch them. Also we have crates for them and they have been putting our dogs in the crates at night. They aren’t used to that. They sleep with us every night. So of course our dogs have been barking and howling and “driving them crazy” We told them DON’T PUT THEM IN THE CRATES AT NIGHT!!!! Put them in the room with you and shut the door so you can’t keep and eye on them and they won’t bark and they can be close to someone which is what they want. Another thing is that they put our dogs in the garage (they have separation anixiety so that wasn’t smart) Because they chase the cats. Buddy tore all the boxes in the garage apart because of the separation anxiety. I don’t know what to do anymore. They keep complaining to us but they are the ones who **** at taking care of our dogs. What would you do?
Oh and for those of you who don’t know what separation anxiety is…its where a dog has to be with you all the time and if you’re not around he will destroy the house. They have to be watched like children 100 percent of the time. We only put them in the crates when we go somewhere. And since they’e big dogs our friends need to walk them and play with them…but I doubt they’ve been doing this.
There is no one else who can watch them…and we can’t come home early. All we can really do is give them tips.

I’m in the market for a new vacuum. I currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats, so obviously pet hair is my number one priority. Which vacuums are really the best (and most economical) for this?
