At what age did you start to breed your chihuahua?

Wow people I wasnt breeding her for money -I actually am doing it for family - They will stay in the family-Please try to be nice about this I really would like peoples advice who have done it before. thanks

My dog needs a new toy?

My dog, Princeton, weighs 3 lbs and is half chihuahua and half papillon. He only like cloth toys or soft toys but he shreds them after a week and then chokes on the fluff inside! what kind of toy should i get him? Hes so sad right now because i threw his last one away…

Whats Your Opinion On Dog Parks?

Honestly…… I will never go to a dog park again, here’s my story-
OK So its my first time at a dog park, i have 3 dogs i only toke two cause my youngest is to young, so anyways i get there with my 2 Chihuahua’s let them off the leash and everything was going fine, Oh! and there’s too sections Big dog section and Little dog section. The little dog section is for dogs that are 30 pounds and under, so i was talking to some owners and i notice this BIG puppy it was at least 50-60 pounds and it was trampling over all the small dogs, and so it jump on this persons shih zsu and the shih zsu yelp and limped away and the BIG puppy was starting to jump on my Chi. So i went over to the owner nicely and ask “Shouldn’t the big dogs be in the Big dog section?” The big puppy’s owner looked at me and said “my dogs friendly! got a problem with that?” i said “No, But there are weight limits to each section and your dogs over the limit i can see its friendly but it is trampling over all the little dogs” then her elderly mother was laughing beside her and they walked away and continued too let her dog trample on everyones little dog. so i was talking to a lady and she told me about her friend’s little dog and how it had to have back surgery due to this kinda matter. so i called the dog park office,no one answered, so i just ignored this and went about my day.This morning i woke up and called my vet to ask a question about my 16 week old chihuahua pup and i mention i toke my two older chi’s to the dog park the other day he paused in shocked and said “Id never ever take my dogs to a dog park 100’s of dogs go through there in one weeks time, and 1000’s in a month, there are parasites,diseases and hole bunch of things a dog can get from a dog park If i were you i would not take your chi’s there for there health and the health of your little chi” I was shocked as well i have known this vet for a long time, so i agreed.

So long story short, I want to know what your opinion on dog parks??? do you have trouble with people following the rules? and what about the parasites and diseases and all whats your opinion on that???? Do you think i should follow the vets advise and what i feels right?

How do you take a dog on plane? chihuahua maltese mix?

Im going to florida in nov. I was thinking of leaving my dog with my moms friend but is it true you can take them on the plane with you as carry on?? Do you have to pay ??Shes very small about 8lbs and very calm shes been on road trips for about 1 hr and 30 mins and the flight is about 2 -3hrs since i live in nj. Im sure I could keep her in her purse thing and she would be fine but I was considering getting a crate and placing her under my seat. Shes 1yr old and finished with all her shots in feb and got spayed if that matters The crates measurements would be something atleast 22L-12.5W-12H for her to be able to stand up lie down and turn around. Do you think a crate that size would fit under my seat??

What should I give to drink for my 9 oz chihuahua?

She is 3 months old and doesnt even weigh a pound, so i was wondering what i should give her to drink.. Can i give her water or just milk or a mixture of both? And what about food? I have her on can food, is she too little for hard food, maybe if i mix it? Thank u in advance!
