Agressive male dog?

I have 3 male dogs. One is a 5 yr old mini dachshund who is kinda spoiled and very attached to me. The 2nd is a 10 month old mini dachshund who has quite the personality. The 3rd is a 4 month old rescued shar pei. In the last 2 weeks the 10 month old has started attacking the 5 yr old. They fought so bad last night that the 5 yr old was bleeding. He also blocks him from eating out of the food dish. The 5 yr old is fixed but has always been the leader of the pack. Is this something the 10 month old will grow out of?

Inexpensive dog kennel in Portland area?

My mom is coming to visit me in my no-dogs-allowed apartment and has to take her dog with her. He’s a little dachshund that weighs about 10 pounds. I’m trying to find a fairly cheap kennel to put him in for 4-7 days. Do you know of any? I’d prefer $20 a night or cheaper.

Some good recipes for homemade dog treats?

I have a 17 lbs dachshund mix, 5 lb chihuahua, and a 6 lbs papillon.

…And is there any websites or stores that would be good stuff for dachshunds? Heres what I would like:
*Cheap, not more expensive than $15.00 or little more.
*Small enough for Lilli(my pup). She will be born on April 3rd and we will get her June 8th
*Stores would have to be in or really near La Crosse, WI
*Websites can be for all types of Puppys/dogs but a size small enough for Lilli.
*We would like a harness, collar, leash, a few shirts, a rain coat (dachshunds don’t do rain!
) and a winter coat
*Can not be Petco, Petsmart, Target, Petedge, or iseespot or Barnes and Noble
*Health products, shampoo, food, etc. can and I would like it to be approved by ASPCA or someone else.
If you know anything else or know a website that would help would be great!

Any dogs as small and lite as a Yorkshire Terrier?

I love the size and weight of Yorkshire Terriers, but, I **** their coats, any other dog its size, a miniature dachshund is pretty close, but I don’t care much for it’s long body. Any ideas?
I don’t care much for chihuahua, they look kind of like rats to me, no offense to anyone.

My friend has owned a dachshund and yorkie for about a year now. At first, they would just fight and play together, but for the past month I have noticed the dogs dry humping each other, with the dog being humped ignoring the act, and I also have seen one of the dogs lick the other dog’s ***** on a constant basis. My friend is confused and so am I. Why is this happening?

What Does “Toy Size” Mean For A Dog?

I have weiner dog. The cutest weiner dog ever. I read that Dachshunds come in three sizes. Standard size, miniature size, and toy size. Okay, what the hell does “toy size” mean……what is “toy” define as the best word to describe a Dachshund’s size?
