Moving, will my dogs be devastated if I separate them?

Me, my husband,son and 3 year old cocker spaniel moved in with my dad a few years back ( he was having a hard time with a divorce from my mother, needed some support and my dog was only about 1 and a half at the time). A little over a year ago we all collectively decided to get another dog though it was discussed that the dog was mine. We got a cockapoo. Well the time has come for us to move on and for my dad to put the pieces back together and we were thinking of letting him keep the cockapoo so he isn’t so lonely when we all leave but……the two dogs are really bonded to each other and really bonded to me. They sleep with me and my husband, go where we go. I dont know if the dogs will adjust well or am I being over sensitive about the dogs? I think my dad would enjoy keeping the dog but I worry about the dog being left behind.

Teen money?

I bet this is a pretty common question…I mean, what teen doesn’t want money? *sigh* Anyway, I’m wanting to go to MA this summer and I wanted some extra money(I also want a laptop and other random things…) I’m 13 so I can’t get a job. I live in a small town so there’s no place for car washing. Everyone walks their own dogs and people already have trusted baby sitters. (besides, I don’t like kids all that much) I was wondering if any one had another alternative to a job…My brother already works for my dad sometimes so that won’t work and the grass doesn’t need cutting yet…(besides my dad probably won’t trust his new expensive lawnmower to me) I was thinking of setting up a website for my sister to sell art and her designs but she’s a freshman in college and doesn’t have any time…I also don’t know how to advertise something like that… Anyway, I’d really appreciate if someone could help me! Thanks for reading, and an extra thanks for anyone that helps!

my dog gets depressed?

ok so like my mom keeps telling me that she feels bad for my dog when im out because he gets super depressed .she says that he gos into my room smells my bed and clothing and comes back out all down.my question is what can i do so he will stop missing me ??? and school is starting so i will be gone way longer now!
No Commentsalso my dad told me tht he sleeps by my room door and doesnt want to eat or be social .. what can i do??? i feel horrible for being away ?

Is IAMS a good dog food brand for my dog?

Its all my dad gives him, sometimes he loves it then he seems to **** it. My dog is so picky though. Also why do you think that he likes the mini chunks more that the giants ones like the size of a golf balls. HE is a giant dog. Well mediam sized. He is an adult yellow lab. Well adult size. NOt the mature part though.

I’m getting a puppy soon and I want a larger sized dog who will run and play with me but won’t ever try to attack me my dad says no pitbulls, rotweilers, or dobermans so please don’t mention them.
I know there not bad breeds. I actually wanted a rotweiler. My dad is just paranoid.

Do you think he’s full breed? ?

All you pekingese experts: My male pekingese robbie is 3 years old. i got him at a few weeks old, but sometimes i notice that other pekingese look different than him. Do you think hes full breed? We’re questioning if he may have been a mix. i love the little guy

He is pekingese, he demonstrates the noisy bronchial symptoms and the attitude for sure. He also loves other pekingese and is more interested in them than any other breeds. He just looks different than them and people always look at him like “what the heck?”. Thats why i dont think hes full. Also, my dad brought him home from someone who had a couple puppies.
Of course i enjoy Robbie for being Robbie, I am just curious as to his background because i love him. it interests me to know if he is more than what i thought he was. its just interesting to know just like its interesting to know the ethnic backgrounds of your friends

How can I help my new dog get used to her new home?

My family just got a new, 2 and a half year old dog last night. Before, she had been with another woman and her family for 2 years. I fixed her food just the way she always eats it, but she only ate half. The ex-owner said that she loves to hit around a soccer ball outside, but when I tried playing with her, she just kept walking.
Last night a couple of hours after they left her with us, she was playing with my dad just like a puppy.
Please don’t say “give her lots of attention”, because I already do. Being the one home the most, it’s mainly my job to take care of her.
