I have a 1 year old dog and is very smart
I just wanna know where to train my dog so my dog can be even smarter.

i got a doberman in an animal shelter and my cats were here b4 the dog. how can i get them to get along?
oh and my cat keeps hissing at the dog and my dog snaps my cat and thats when they start a fight

We have tried everything!! She will be outside for an hour then comes inside to ****!! My husband has had it and so have I !!! Its disgusting what can I do to stop her?!

I went to my local animal shelter today to participate in a Halloween Fund Raiser for the homeless dogs. Of course I fell in love. I found a 10 year old black lab who had been there for 17 days. He was surrendered by his previous owners because they had ‘no time for him.’ This dog was absolutely heartbroken and depressed. He wouldn’t even look up when you called his name or made kissy sounds. Eventually I got him to come to me, and he was full of kisses. He was very sweet, and temperament tested good with children, other dogs, and cats. He is already neutered and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is only $50. Being a geriatric large black dog, his chances of getting adopted are slim to none. I don’t have a lot of extra money lying around, but I want to adopt him, and be kind of like his retirement home. I would just love him and take care of him for the time he has left. BUT..I live with my fiance, and he said no. He said that I can’t save all the dogs in the world..continued…
We already have two cats and a dog, all of which are good with other animals. And my fiance doesn’t want anymore. He also doesn’t want more hair in the house. He said when we get a larger house with a larger yard I can save more dogs. But I just want to save this one. What do you think I should do? Do you think it would be unfair to my other animals and fiance if I adopt another dog? Do you think it would be hard getting attached, he might only live another year. Should I respect his wishes, or should I try to explain how I feel about this, and show him that this is something I really want to do? I am broken up about this poor dog.
It is Not a No Kill shelter, and he has already been there for 17 days. I **** even saying those words, because I know what is going to happen if I don’t take him.
I am absolutely torn up about this. I don’t know if I want him for the right reasons. But when I saw him there in the cage, he just tugged at my heart strings. I wasn’t in the market for another dog right now, but I really want to save this one. I don’t want him to die cold and alone. He deserves to be loved, and I know I would love him dearly. If he wasn’t such a Nice dog I wouldn’t be so heartbroken. I’m going to take my fiancee with me to see him on Monday, and we will talk about it from there.

My cat is 14, not likely to accept a new pet, which we in the house aren’t keen to do just yet either. We are still mourning the death of our beloved 11 year old dog. But my cat seems lonely, and I wonder if I’m crazy for thinking that.

Previously when I was going to school I was able to come home and take him out every few hours. I am going to be working from8-5 now and don’t want him to hold it for 9 hours! Is there a way to potty train him so that he can go on a pad or a certain place in the house? I don’t have a doggy door, or know anyone who can come and take care of him. Please let me know any method that you’ve used that work.
I also don’t have a fenced area where I could let him into if I did have a doggy door
Incase you are wondering - I don’t have any family or currently know anyone where I moved. I moved to Pennsylvania from Texas. My family moved to New York and all my friends are in Texas, thus explaining the situation I am in. My new house I moved to does not have a fenced backyard much less a doggie door.
