Her name is Freeze and she will be 5 months old on May 25th.
Other than that, she is a very loving puppy, and she loves to sleep whith my husband and me every night.

What kind of dog food is the best for puppies?

I have a 3 going on 4 month old Miniture Schnauzer. I have been feeding him Purina One (puppy chow). Is this good food or should go back to the Eukanuba (puppy small breed). The dog is not chooses he eats what ever is in front of him. I figured that I see what some of you guys think. Thanks for any advise you can give me.

What does it mean when a dog is DNA registered?

A breeder told me all of his dogs are AKC registered and the father is DNA registered. I looked online and it seems you can send in a test of the DNA for stud dogs but I couldn’t tell if some were rejected. If it is DNA registered, what does that mean to me and more importantly its’ puppies?

19 CommentsWe think she is a German shepard/Lab mix, but we are not sure. She has many similarities to labs (she greets you with a toy/does the little wiggle dance that labs do) but also has grey scruffy fur, long nose, and big pointy ears like a German shepard. She is very protective of our house and is very intelligent.
I know she looks really skinny in this picture. It was taken the day we brought her home after adoption from a rescue.. she had given birth to a bunch of puppies who were in process of adoption and she was suffering from heartworm and starvation.
Now she is fully recovered and a great dog! I just wish I knew what breed she was!

We recently acquired a 19 month old APBT that has never been to the vet. What kind of med care will he need?

He’s never had any shots, no heartworm treatments, distemper, nothing. We would like to get him all the care he needs, but we’ve only dealt with puppies. What kind of shots will he need at this age? What can we expect for price for all this?
150-200 isn’t bad. I was expecting somewhere around 500 or so.

Is it normal for puppies to have a gap when teething?

My toy poodle pup is 6 months old and I have noticed him lose a few teeth, but I am a bit worried that he appears to have double teeth for three out of the 4 canine teeth, but on one side (lower) he has a gap and no sign of a growing tooth,
Should I be worried?
