How can I teach my blind dog to get up and down from my high bed?

I have a blind mini dachshund that has a slight amount of sight (about 10% or less) in one eye. He normally learns quickly when a room is changed around and he can get around obstacles, but I recently put my bed up on a bed frame, so it is about a foot higher than it was before. He is having a lot of trouble getting down from it, but he has been able to jump up on it with only minor trouble. I bought some puppy stairs for small dogs to get up, but he can’t seem to figure out where the stairs are even though I keep them in the same place and I’m constantly showing him where they are. I wondered if anyone knew any good techniques to either get him to learn the stairs or how I could get him to jump down on his own without feeling as much fear as he has now when he tries to jump down. I don’t want him to get hurt either, but I also don’t want him to depend on me to get down. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Is it ok to leave my Golden Retriever 5 month old puppy at home from 8am-3pm all alone ?

I have a Golden Retriever thats now 5 months old in September. Would it be alright if i leave it at home from 8am-3pm since my parents are at work and i have school. I know its an active dog but would it be alright if i do so. I will give it alot of attention and care for it during the morning and right when i get home.

How can I stop my puppy pulling on my pants constantly?

My 15 week old bichon constantly pulls on my pants. I’ve tried water in a spray bottle or laying her on her back for time out, but she still comes at my pants and pulls. When I try to stop her she starts mouthing and snapping. At inappropriate times (when I’m preparing breakfast, lunch or dinner) she wants to play and when I don’t she starts pulling to get attention. She seems to be getting worse by the day.

Has anyone tried training their dog to use a bell to go outside?

I have a 4-5 month old puppy who will go to the door when she has to go to the bathroom, but if you are not right there to let her out she will just go on the floor. I thought about putting a bell at the door for her to hit when she wants to go outside. Has anyone done this before? If so, do you have any tips? This puppy seems very eager to please so I dont think it will be hard to train her to do it, just wanted some input/tips.

Is it possible for a dog to be pregnant and only have one puppy inside her?

We paid for my dog to get pregant. She is due in about 20 more days, but she doesnt look any bigger. So we called someone to come look at her to see if shes pregant. They said that they dont think she is pregnant but she could possibly have one or two in her. But im wondering if a dog can be pregant with just one or two puppies.

Why does my puppy annoy the crap out of my other dog?

When she (dog) goes to the toilet, my boy (puppy) has to sniff it and *** over it. Everytime we give them snacks he’ll eat his and steal hers from her mouth. When she wants to rest he starts biting and nipping her and she growls and nips back. Why does he have to annoy her all the time?
