what is the best type of puppy when you have a rottweiler and a 12 year old?

for everyones information my rottweiler is the nicest dog in the world. she wouldnt rip another puppies head off. she was abandoned in a cornfeild with her puppies. she is only HALF rottweiler, the other half is lab. so shut up with your mean comments. rottweilers are nice dogs. she had puppies of her own once. And she licks my kitten to death.

I am planning on breeding when I’m older. I will also be a veterinarian. Which two breeds should I breed?

I am planning on breeding Bernese Mountain Dogs. I will also be a veterinarian♥. I also want to breed another breed besides that one. Should the second breed be:

(a) Rottweiler or

(b) Siberian Husky and tell me why or why not?

We lost our beloved rotti (rottweiler) in a tragic accident tonight?

we are all just sick and sad about it. I t happened about 6 hours ago and I just can’t sleep. We keep questioning EVERYTHING, was he happy, were we good enough to him, could we have done this, that, why????? How do you get over it and help others in the family heal?

This hurts real bad and I just can’t quit crying and thinking about him.

RIP Keelo Biggs, we love you.
My husband took him to the emergency vet hospital and they are going to cremate him and we’ll have him back in a couple days.
He drown…………it’s such a terrible, tragic story I can’t even go into it. But I can tell you he loved to swim.

And to the guy who asked if it was a joke about luciano pavarotti……..that’s just cruel…………..and not funny at all!

thanks for all the information. i was not aware of all the risks involved or how it could lead to a bad life for the dog. i have a JRT now and i was just looking to find him a companion to play with.

How can I keep my rottweiler dog cool during the summer months?

I live in Texas, and as you may know it get’s pretty hot in the summer months. My house was built from the ground up a couple of years ago in a brand new subdivision so there are no trees in the yard, and as a result there is little shade. Because I work throughout the day (without the possibility of coming home during the day) I must leave my dog outside. He has a dog house that he could go in to get away from the sun but he rarely utilizes it. Does anyone know of any other techniques that I could use to make sure he does not receive any heat-related illness. Serious answers only. Thanks.

How do I know if my dog is deaf?

I have a bull mastiff/rottweiler mix and i’m trying to train it to sit and stay.But he doesnt respond to me.I make noises behind him to see if he hears them,but it seems like he doesn’t know where the noise is coming from.How do i know if he’s deaf? He’s only 8.5 weeks.

Deramaxx isn’t working for my dog, is there any hope for her?

My 11 year old Rottweiler, Belle, has been on 75mg of Deramaxx for about 2 months, and it just isn’t working for her. In fact, last night she was limping so badly, she could barely walk.

Are there other medications out there for her, something that is stronger? I sure would **** to lose my dog because of arthritis, she’s such a happy and sweet animal.

Can anyone give me help?
