Why does my beagle?

Why does my beagle dog sleep with me and when my husband comes to bed she growls and snips at him and it is his dog? It islike she does not liked to be moved when she is sleeping with me. She will know when I am going to bed and beat me in the bed but will not growl or snip at me just my husband. Another question is how do I keep her from jumping up on us and visitors? We have tried tapping her toes with our feet and gently kneeing her in the chest and at both things telling her “down”. Neither have seemed to work. She is a sweet dog and loved by everyone in our neighborhood but these things just irritate me to no end. I hope someone can help me. Never have owned a Beagle breed before.
My husband is the one who feeds her and plays in/outside with her and takes her out to go potty. He is the one who has taught her to sit, shake, lay down, roll and now doing crawl command. He spends alot fo time with her as he can not work due to back surgery so he does what he can with and for her.

Why does my dog start to shake whenever I turn my heater on?

We have central heat and my dog gets so scared when we turn it on she starts to shake. Her whole body shakes and it gets really annoying when we’re trying to sleep at night. Does anybody know why she shakes and how we can get her to stop?

How do I keep dog from putting garbage in my bed?

Whenever my husband and I leave the home, our dog digs in the garbage and places various things in our bed. She is not allowed to sleep in our bed, and she has her own bed that she does not put garbage in. Do you know how I can get her to stop? She is three years old, and the habit seems to be getting worse, Any help would be appreciated!

What should we do with our dog? Should we put him to sleep?

We have a four year old black labrador retreiver named Gryffindor. Right before his second birthday, he was hit by a car on the street next to our house. He shattered one hip, which was replaced, and fractured another, which had pins and screws put into it. He was always a stubborn dog, but after the accident, his temperment got worse; you can tell him to sit down or come in the house, but he’ll do it when he’s good and ready. For the last year or so, he has been ripping appart any trash barrell he finds, drinks out of all the toilets, and eats both his own and our other dog’s *****. He has recently just began jumping up on the counters; yesterday he ate our entire Christmas breakfast off a 4-foot-high counter (remember his hips are extremely bad). We really are having trouble putting up with him, but we don’t know what to do with him because of all his health and behavioral issues non one would want him, and we are seriously considering putting him to sleep. What should we do?
